The company will be featured in numerous promotions and will be creating designs specifically for BJ's, which is currently the most successful membership warehouse chain in the world, posting profits above all others in the market in 2008.

JIMMY QUIROGA ® DESIGNS was a featured jeweler at the Alonzo Mourning Charities Foundation of Miami Heat star basketball players Alonzo Morning and Dwayne Wade, along with Alonzo's wife Tracy Mourning. The company donates jewelry pieces for the Honey Shine Mentoring Program events, the Overtown Youth Center events and "Zoe's Summer Groove" events. The Foundation aids children and families who are in at-risk situations.

The Miami-Dade County Office of the Mayor and Board of County Commissioners, presented to JIMMY QUIROGA DESIGNS a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of its valuable contributions to the community, dedicated by Mayor Carlos Alvarez and the Chairman of County Commissioners, Bruno A. Barreiro, in Miami, Florida.

Up-and coming Couture Fashion Designer, Maria Lepe, selected the jewelry designs of JIMMY QUIROGA ® DESIGNS to complement her fall 2008 collection. An award-winning designer, her clothing will be featured in numerous fashion shows and presentations throught the US and abroad. JIMMY QUIROGA ® DESIGNS participated in the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's Women in Leadership Awards held in Miami Beach. The company donated five necklaces from its JQ Fine Fashion Collection, one for each of the five winners. The honorees were women in national leadeship positions and hailed from different parts of the country.

JIMMY QUIROGA ® DESIGNS was featured as one of the Live Auction Sponsors at the BEST BUDDIES Moveable Feast fundraiser held at Britto Central Art Gallery in Miami Beach. The JIMMY QUIROGA "Cascade Necklace" was donated incorporating sterling silver and semi-precious stones. The founders and directors of the organization are Anthony and Alina Kennedy Shriver.

The MARIA ELVIRA SALAZAR LIVE broadcast on the Spanish Broadcasting System has named JIMMY QUIROGA as the official jewelry designer to Ms. Salazar on her nightly one-hour national prime time television program on their MEGA TV station. Featured items include JQ's Fine Fashion pieces as well as his Coin Collection signature pieces. The program can be viewed nation-wide Monday through Friday from 8pm to 9pm Eastern time.

JIMMY QUIROGA ® DESIGNS was selected as the official fine jeweler for the League Against Cancer Fashion Show and Luncheon held at the Sheraton Hotel Miami. Several JQ Coin collection signature pieces were donated for the event which raised funds for such a worthy cause.

Gloria Estefan and her family celebrated Gloria's 50th birthday party with a 70's themed celebration in Miami. JIMMY QUIROGA ® DESIGNS was commissioned to create Gloria's jewelry. It was a spectacular leather necklace with 14K white gold and diamond charms. The necklace can also be worn as a bracelet, which is how Gloria chose to wear it on her big night. The piece was added to Gloria's collection of custom-made Jimmy Quiroga ® Designs jewelry.

The Hispanic Ballet of Miami, umbrella for the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, a non-profit organization, held a fundraising reception at the Tower Theater in Miami. The First Annual Garza Awards were granted during the event, to honor community personalities for their outstanding support of the arts. A silent auction featured exclusive jewelry courtesy of JIMMY QUIROGA ® DESIGNS. The jewelry designs were a huge success resulting in significant donations to the organization.
