It is with great joy that we share that our younger son, Kevin, has accepted an offer as Summer Intern at the Florida International University Office of the General Counsel! We could not be happier, as this will be the last Summer before his third and final year of Law School at FIU. This opportunity will be a great steppingstone for his legal career, having been founder of the FlU ESports Dept. during his undergraduate years at the FIU Honors College. His law school focus is on contracts, transactions and negotiations. He wants to thank his mentors FIU Provost and COO, Dr. Elizabeth Bejar, FIU President Jeanette Nuñez, Florida Supreme Court Justice John Couriel, Third District Court of Appeals Judge Monica Gordo, Former FIU President Kenneth Jessel, Former FIU Law School Dean Antony Page and FIU Honors College Dean Juan Carlos Espinosa. As the first Panther in our family, FlU is Kevin’s home, and this experience will truly be a full-circle moment. He looks forward to contributing to the OGC while learning more about the inner workings of a collegiate legal department. Congratulations Kevin! We are beyond proud of you!

A truly meaningful and historic event today at Florida International University, as we unveiled and dedicated the Ronald Reagan statue at the FIU Presidential House! Congratulations to all involved, especially our dear friends FIU President Jeanette Nuñez and FIU Provost and COO, Dr. Elizabeth Bejar. It was an honor to be included, as our CEO, Vivian Quiroga, Esq. is a member of the FIU President’s Council, and younger son Kevin, is a proud second year law student at FIU Law School. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke about the significance of President Reagan to Florida, and especially to Miami. The event also kicked off the festivities for America 250 in Florida and included members of the FIU Board of Trustees, Senators, elected officials, civic leaders and members of the media. FIU is also committed to the efforts of a free and democratic Cuba, through various departments and initiatives. Viva Cuba Libre!

Ringing in the New Year at the Milton’s most incredible, over-the-top NYE extravaganza! The Beatles LOVE theme took it to another level, with Miami’s movers and shakers grooving to a spectacular Beatles show and theatrical performances ending with the biggest fireworks show Miami has ever seen! A huge thank you to our dear friend Ana Milton and the Milton Family Foundation for an unforgettable night. Your generosity, kindness, and unwavering commitment to giving back have touched countless lives, making you one of Miami’s most impactful philanthropists. Jimmy and Vivian were honored to receive a personal VIP invitation from FIU President Jeanette Nuñez and Provost Elizabeth Bejar. It was a tribute to the legend, the Cuban born, worldwide Queen of Salsa, Celia Cruz, in a historical musical extravaganza featuring the Florida International Univetsity Symphony Orchestra! The unforgettable concert included musical performances of Celia’s songs by guest artists Willy Chirino, Albita, Lisette, Lucrecia and Lena Burke among others. The event was co-produced to support FIU’s Casa Cuba cultural and academic center, on Celia’s 100th birthday celebration. Jimmy Quiroga Designs, along with Jimmy, Vivian and son Kevin (currently a second year law student at FIU Law) are Friends of Casa Cuba, and Vivian is a member of the FIU President’s Council. We have no words to express the talent of the members of the world class FIU Symphony Orchestra, with director and conductor, Maestro Javier Jose Mendoza. Congratulations to the entire FIU team for an unprecedented success!

Blue Origin’s New Glenn Soars to victory in a historic day for space exploration today! Our son Jason the Rocket Scientist, and his engineer colleagues witnessed a surreal spectacle! All of their hard work for years has paid off, as the New Glenn 2 mission took off to Mars. And beyond that, the first stage that Jason works on, with the seven BE-4 engines, returned safely to earth to be used again. Congratulations to the entire Blue Origin New Glenn team for an extraordinary accomplishment!
