In addition to his Court of Appeals Internship, this Summer, our son Kevin the law student also shadowed our dear friend and client Judge Peter Lopez at the historic Dade County Courthouse trial court in the 11th Circuit Court, and in the criminal court at the Richard Gerstein Judicial Building with Judge Christina Correa, providing valuable litigation experience. While at the Dade County Courthouse, we toured the restored main courtroom which was part of the extensive renovations in 2008 to preserve this historic Miami landmark. “Cielito Lindo” as it was called in it’s heyday, was the epicenter of courtroom action. Our CEO got her legal start there and Jimmy Quiroga ®️Designs played a crucial role in the fundraising efforts of the renovations with our donation of the custom made JQ Dade County Courthouse Pins. A huge thank you to these wonderful great friends and members of the bench for paying it forward to the next generation of lawyers including Kevin!
