The Jimmy Quiroga (R) Designs Dade County Courthouse Pin was custom made to raise funds during the renovation of the historic courthouse in 2008. We donated the pins for the Board and large donors. rFast forward to now and the court is moving to a new glass state of the art building, leaving the historic landmark to become a museum. Showcasing the history of Miami, it is a very special place for our family. Our CEO, Vivian Quiroga, Esq. began her law practice at age 24 and as commercial litigator and employment lawyer she frequented the court and fell in love with it’s history as Cielito Lindo. Many years later, Jimmy Quiroga (R) Designs was asked to create the official pin in Sterling Silver, which was gifted to the largest donors and VIP’s of the restoration. Fast forward again, and our youngest son, Kevin, as a second year law student at FIU Law was able to be part of this history just a few months before it is vacated! A full circle moment!

In addition to his Court of Appeals Internship, this Summer, our son Kevin the law student also shadowed our dear friend and client Judge Peter Lopez at the historic Dade County Courthouse trial court in the 11th Circuit Court, and in the criminal court at the Richard Gerstein Judicial Building with Judge Christina Correa, providing valuable litigation experience. While at the Dade County Courthouse, we toured the restored main courtroom which was part of the extensive renovations in 2008 to preserve this historic Miami landmark. “Cielito Lindo” as it was called in it’s heyday, was the epicenter of courtroom action. Our CEO got her legal start there and Jimmy Quiroga ®️Designs played a crucial role in the fundraising efforts of the renovations with our donation of the custom made JQ Dade County Courthouse Pins. A huge thank you to these wonderful great friends and members of the bench for paying it forward to the next generation of lawyers including Kevin!

It’s been a very productive Summer for our youngest son, Kevin who is entering his second year at FIU Law School in a few weeks. It is a full circle moment following in his Mom’s footsteps, our CEO Vivian Quiroga, Esq. As an Judicial Intern to our longtime friend and client Appellate Judge Monica Gordo at the Third District Court of Appeals, Kevin has been doing legal research and writing for judicial opinions in a variety of cases. Another dear friend and client in the same court, Appellate Judge Bronwyn Miller has also helped him guide his career path with her tremendous experience. We want to give a huge thank you to all of these wonderful friends and members of the bench for paying it forward to the next generation of lawyers including our son Kevin!

A wonderful time was had last night at the Miami Women Who Rock Denim & Diamonds Kickoff to Benefit Amigos for Kids! MWWR Rockstars and friends gathered at the beautiful P Powder Room. Miami to Sip, Savor & Support this amazing charitys much needed summer programs for kids. Superstar awards were given to outstanding individuals that always give generously to others! Jimmy Quiroga (R) Designs is a long time supporter and sponsor of Miamis grand jewel: Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. For years the renovation of this historic landmark has been ongoing and is now almost complete. Some of the upgrades include the famous barge, many of the coral statutes, urns, columns, arches and steps, numerous windows, doors and other projects. Jimmy and Vivian were issued a Special Invitation to tour the renovations and dine at the Vizcaya Cafe. It was a gorgeous Miami day surrounded by history and beauty. Of the many times we have marveled at this landmark, while sponsoring the Preservation Hat luncheons, Vizcaya Balls or other events, today was extra special. Meanwhile at the Third District Court of Appeals, our younger son Kevin was hired as Judicial Intern to the distinguished Honorable Appellate Judge Monica Gordo. In this prestigious position, Kevin conducts research, writes and edits legal memos to be adapted by the Judge as drafts of her final opinions. Kevin is now a second year law student at Florida International University College of Law and is at the top of his class. Along with being our longtime client, our CEO, Vivian Quiroga, Esq. has known Judge Gordo for many years and attended her investiture to the court of Appeals years ago. Kevin has the honor of attending oral appellate arguments and is learning the intricacies of the higher courts of our judicial system under the tutelage of Judge Gordo, who has decades of esteemed service to the bench. Congratulations Kevin on being selected for this respected position and amazing opportunity

Presenting the Jimmy Quiroga (R) Designs Libertad - Freedom Tower 100 Years Pin. This year, Miami’s first skyscraper, and National Historic Landmark, turns 100! In celebration of this milestone, Miami Dade College, to which the tower was donated in 2005, is unveiling a completely renovated tower, with immersive multimedia exhibitions which highlight the Freedom Tower’s iconic history -from its early days as the Miami Daily News headquarters to its role as a Cuban refugee center, where hundreds of thousands of Cuban exiles were welcomed to the United States. It has been known as “the Ellis Island of the South”. Jimmy Quiroga, and his wife, our CEO Vivian Quiroga, Esq., are honored to be part of the Libertad Host Committee, along with other luminaries and pillars of our Miami community. The Libertad pin will be a limited edition handcrafted sterling silver and enamel homage to this great landmark and milestone. The first pin in production was presented to MDC President Madeline Pumariega by Jimmy & Vivian. They will be gifted to special Libertad board members and donors, and will also be available by special order. A piece of our Miami history!

We are so happy with the amazing recognition for our son, Jason the Rocket Scientist, at such a young age. It was a priceless and unforgettable night, as he was inducted into the MDC Alumni Hall of Fame! We have no words to thank our dear friends Miami Dade College President Madeline Pumariega, MDC Foundation Board Chair Jorge Plasencia, and MDC Foundation CEO Nelson F. Hincapie for this incredible honor. Jimmy and Vivian presented to Pres.
